Specify or Change your Lan IP Address in Windows

Step 1 : Go to Control Panel and then to Network Connections.

Step 2 : Right-click on Local Area Connection and click Properties.

Step 3 : Under the General tab click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click Properties.

Step 4 : In the 'Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties' window, select "Use the following IP address" if it is not already selected and specify or change the new IP address you wish to use. While entering this data you can also specify or change the subnet mask and default gateway.
